About the Role

As our Workshop Controller, the successful applicant will be in control of our workshop team including Technicians and Apprentices. Your job is to delegate and manage the workload of the department, work closely with our Head Technician assisting in complex diagnosis, and most of all deliver an outstanding experience for our customers. To be successful you’ll need a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and be the master of time management.  
 
Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage workflow
• Management of Technicians and Apprentices
• Diagnosis
• Be a part of the leadership team coordinating with the customer team
• Customer Service
• Quality control
• Maintain a safe environment

 
Skills and Experience

• Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical or equivalent
• Stable employment history
• Experience in running automotive service teams including apprentices
• Experience in complex diagnostics
• Strong time management skills
• Expert customer service skills
• Franchise/dealership experienced
• Prestige brand (Audi/BMW/Mercedes Benz) experience preferred
• Experience in using dealer management systems
• Right to work in Australia
